Genchem No Planaria 50g - Worm Treatment for Shrimp Tanks

Genchem No Planaria is a natural and effective anti-worm treatment that kills planaria, other worms and hydra.

It is a concentrated natural powder formula (each packet contains 50 grams) which can treat around 2000 liters X full course of a 3 days treatment.

As a general estimation, if this is used for a 50-100 liters shrimp tank, it can treat that tank for 20-40 times for a full 3 days course treatment. As such, it can last a very long time.

In shrimp tanks, worms such as planaria can harm shrimps especially moulting shrimps and baby shrimps. As such, it is best to destroy them before they start to breed even more.

This natural product has been extensively used by many shrimp hobbyists as an effective treatment to kill planaria, other worms and hydra.

It is also a good backup product to always have on hand so that whenever you spot any planaria, you can immediately start the treatment.

Aquarzon has used this product several times before and can confirm the effectiveness of it. 

We do recommend the following:

- Remove activated carbon during the entire course of treatment (3 days)

- Do not overdose and follow the directions printed on the label

- Perform a water change after 3 days

- Keep your filter running

Important Note: Remember, during treatment, aeration is very important. While this product is safe for shrimps, lack of oxygen during treatment can cause adverse effect to your shrimps. This is why there must be sufficient aeration during the treatment. 

Also note, this natural product can also kill snails so if you have any precious snails, you need to remove them. If you do not like snails and want to reduce their population, then this product can also work to reduce the snail population.
