We like the floating fish feeding ring as it helps keep floating fish food on a fixed water surface area rather than being blown by the aquarium filter outlet.

This helps reduce the amount of uneaten fish food which sinks to the substrate or gets sucked into the filter. Reducing the amount of uneaten fish food helps maintain water quality.
