This original brand high-quality needle check valve regulator is excellent for micro-control of CO2 gas from CO2 regulator.

Made of stainless steel & aluminium for durability. 

Fits standard 4mm internal diameter 6mm external diameter aquarium airline. One end is for connecting the incoming airline together, and another end is for attaching the bubble counter, while the dial is for precise micro-control of gas flowing through.

DIFFERENCE OF HIGH QUALITY METAL VS CHEAP PLASTIC VALVE CONTROL

1) NO LEAKAGE

Do note that the common plastic airline control valve always leak air out from its screw part as it lacks O ring and because of its cheap plastic construction, unlike this high quality metal control needle valve which is fully made of metal with O ring included.

We have tested this by comparing the cheap plastic type VS this high quality metal type for CO2. When we put soap bubbles (soap bubbles are standard to test for air leakage) around the screw part of the plastic type control valve, we can see a lot of external soap bubbling which indicates external leakage of air from the cheap plastic type. But when we do the same test on this high-quality metal type control needle valve, there was no external bubbling at all which means there is no external leakage.

2) PRECISE MICRO-CONTROL

The cheap plastic types are not able to have precise micro-control unlike this high-quality metal type control needle valve due to the way its constructed.

3) DURABILITY
The metal type can easily lasts over 10 years or even a lifetime. It does not suffer issues which affect plastic like wear and tear of the plastic thread as the tube is put on and removed, weakening from exposure of UV from light/sunlight, etc.
