This set of 5 individual aquarium sponge filters for covering filter intake is great to help avoid small fish, fry and shrimps from getting accidentally sucked into the aquarium filter.

It also traps larger debris like dead leaves and sludge from entering and clogging your filter. It also provides a good surface area to house beneficial bacteria.

These durable aquarium filter sponge covers are long-lasting.

The important measurement is the inner hole diameter 2cm. If your aquarium filter intake is 2-2.5cm, these sponge filters should fit well.

TIP: If you find it a bit tight, you can stretch it sideways a bit before attaching it.
Or if you find it a bit loose, you can put some filter wool in between the gaps to make it tighter.
