Rotala Ramosior Florida is a rare stem plant which can grow very attractive mini purple and green leaves. It is a relatively easy stem plant that can do fine in both low and high tech tanks.

Aquarzon recommends this stem plant to be planted around the foreground to midground area of an aquascape due to its small size.

Rotala Ramosior Florida grows the most beautiful colours when grown in a higher lighting aquarium. The amount of purple colouration is directly affected by both factors which are the amount of lighting and nutrient availability (especially iron). When grown in a lower lighting aquarium, this stem plant will grow more green colouration.

Based on Aquarzon's records, Rotala Ramosior Florida became a mainstream aquarium plant in Australia in 2021. It became mainstream just before Rotala Blood Red.

As the name states, this stem plant is naturally found in Florida, USA. It is currently one of the rarest stem plants which is now propagated in Australia.

This plant offered by Aquarzon is 100% aquarium submersed grown indoor and is very clean, free from weeds and outdoor pests. It is not tissue culture or emersed grown stock which can suffer transitional melting issues when planted in an aquarium. Our indoor submersed grown stock is in very healthy condition and ready to be planted straight in an aquarium.
