Rotala H'ra, also known as Rotala sp. 'Gia Lai', is a very beautiful small stem plant that grows light orange to red under higher intensity lighting. It grows narrow and small leaves. 

Aquarzon recommends this small stem plant for an aquascape that needs a midground or background plant with a spectrum of light orange to red colouration. Besides using this to create contrast with green plants, one creative aquascaping use of this plant that we recommend is to use it to create a colour gradient, for example to plant this plant between Ludwigia Mini Super Red (that can grow intense red) and Bacopa Caroliniana (very bright green) which would create a beautiful gradient.

Our Rotala H'ra have good colours and would be a beauty right out of the box and straight into an aquarium. It is grown in our aquarium with good lighting and complete fertilisation. It is not grown emersed (emersed grown stock would be very green instead of having nice colours).

This plant grown by Aquarzon is 100% aquarium submersed grown indoor and is very clean, free from weeds and outdoor pests. It is not tissue culture or emersed grown stock which can suffer transitional melting issues when planted in an aquarium. Our indoor submersed grown stock is in very healthy condition and ready to be planted straight in an aquarium.
