Myriophyllum Diccocum is an easy, lush fine-leaved stem plant that is native to Australia.
This stem plant can grow lush and is recommended as a background stem plant to fill an area of an aquascape background as it provides good background coverage. It can provide refuge for smaller fish, fry and shrimps.
In Aquarzon's growing experience, it is one of the easiest background stem plant that is suitable for beginners. Due to its relatively fast growth, it is effective in absorbing excess nutrients from the aquarium such as excess nitrate (fish and shrimp excretion breaks down to ammonia which is converted to nitrite then nitrate by good bacteria).
This plant grown by Aquarzon is 100% aquarium submersed grown indoor and is very clean, free from weeds and outdoor pests. It is not tissue culture or emersed grown stock which can suffer transitional melting issues when planted in an aquarium. Our indoor submersed grown stock is in very healthy condition and ready to be planted straight in an aquarium.
