Mini Weeping Moss is an extremely rare moss worldwide that has really tiny leaves and grows extremely compact.

Based on Aquarzon's research, it is currently the world's smallest weeping growth aquatic moss known to the aquarium hobby trade.

It is best used as a foreground or midground moss. It looks amazing when placed on top of a rock or piece of wood.

The moss grown by Aquarzon is 100% true Mini Weeping Moss (known as Java Spring Moss) and was originally purchased from 2 highly reputable hobbyists in Australia. This moss is seldom available for retail sale worldwide due to its rarity and slow growth.

Based on our observation, it has a dark and deep green foliage tone which remains almost the same even when grown under high intensity lighting. After a period of several months, it grows into a thick weeping cushion. It can be slow or very slow growing even under high tech conditions and this will be a likely reason this moss will remain to be very rare or rare even after a few years.

This moss originates from Indonesia, which is one of the reasons why it is also known as "Java Spring Moss" (Java is an Indonesian island located between Sumatra and Bali).
