Spoon Leaf Fern is an extremely rare variant of the Java Fern that grows very unique spooning and curving leaves.

This plant grows broad, curvy leaves that uniquely curved in two ways, horizontally and vertically. In our aquascape, this unique fern variant grows curving into the shape of talons / claws which is truly stunning, as can be seen from the photos we took here.

We love this Spoon Leaf Fern as it can be used to create illusionary effect in an aquascape. For example, it could be used to create an entrance effect to a tunnel or cave in your aquascape. The possibilities are endless.

We have very limited amount due to its slow growth. When it is out of stock, it usually takes a few weeks for it to be back in stock as propagation of this plant usually takes a long time.

The Spoon Leaf Fern that Aquarzon propagates is 100% true Spoon Leaf Fern and we originally sourced the initial stock from a highly experienced hobbyist in Australia to propagate.
