Hygrophila Lancea Araguaia is a lower-growing, shorter stem plant that can grow compact and bushy, making it a very good plant for the foreground to midground areas of an aquarium tank.
It grows narrow and deep-coloured leaves which is very beautiful. Higher lighting levels will encourage the formation of darker colours while lower lighting levels will encourage the formation of greener leaves.
As per our research, contrary to its Araguaia name, this plant is believed to originate from Asia rather than the Araguaia river in Brazil.
Aquarzon recommends this beautiful lower-growing stem plant for aquascape which needs a deep coloured stem plant for the foreground or midground areas.
This plant grown by Aquarzon is 100% aquarium submersed grown indoor and is very clean, free from weeds and outdoor pests. It is not tissue culture or emersed grown stock which can suffer transitional melting issues when planted in an aquarium. Our indoor submersed grown stock is in very healthy condition and ready to be planted straight in an aquarium.
