Cryptocoryne Flamingo is a stunning small to medium size Crypt with very beautiful pink leaves. It is a cultivar by Dennerle and was named after the Flamingo bird that has beautiful pink feathers. Emersed grown stock usually have very little pink while submersed grown stock usually have much more pink, especially when grown under higher lighting intensity.
Crypt Flamingo is best used as a foreground or midground special feature plant. It can really give a stunning effect to an ordinary looking aquascape with its beautiful pink leaves.
Stock availability is very limited due to its slow to very slow growth rate.
This plant grown by Aquarzon is 100% submersed grown indoor and is very clean, free from weeds and outdoor pests. It is not tissue culture or emersed grown stock which can suffer transitional melting issues when planted in an aquarium. Our indoor submersed grown stock is in very healthy condition and ready to be planted straight in an aquarium.
