TRIDENT JAVA FERN - Microsorum Pteropus sp. 'Trident'

Trident Fern Portion Size :
Either M Size with usually around 5-6 leaves (plant height usually around 10-12cm) OR L Size with usually around 3-4 leaves (plant height usually around 15cm), depending on availability


Trident Java Fern is an uncommon variant that grows unique, trident-shaped leaves. This plant looks very beautiful when grown as a clump mounted on a hardscape such as rock or wood. Alternatively, it can just be freely positioned in between gaps such as between two rocks like how we did in our aquascape below. 

It is a strong and easy plant, just like the standard Java Fern. It is best positioned around midground. Aquarzon recommends this fern to be used at the foreground to midground for large tanks to create fern bush effect or it can be used as a midground to background plant in smaller aquariums.
