Hygrophila Tiger is a relatively uncommon narrow and long leaf stem plant which can grow nice colours under medium to high lighting environments. The colour tone is usually a mix of reddish-brown to brownish-green, depending on how much light it receives.Â
It is an easy plant and suitable for low tech tanks.
Aquarzon has tested this plant by growing in a lower lighting setup and it remains very healthy. Our test indicates this plant is very suitable for low tech tanks.
Due to its lower growth habit, Aquarzon feels Hygrophila Tiger is excellent for the midground areas.Â
It can tolerate a wide range of aquarium water parameters and is fairly undemanding.Â
We recommend this stem plant for aquariums that need an easy midground stem plant that produces some colours other than just being plain green.Â
This plant grown by Aquarzon is 100% aquarium submersed grown indoor and is very clean, free from weeds and outdoor pests. It is not tissue culture or emersed grown stock which can suffer transitional melting issues when planted in an aquarium. Our indoor submersed grown stock is in very healthy condition and ready to be planted straight in an aquarium.

But as we do not have a frontal unobstructed view of Hygrophila Tiger at the moment and it is also important for customers to have an informed choice of how this plant grows, we are just helping to share a Google search screenshot here to help customers understand its growth habit and characteristics.Â
