Pink Ivory Ramshorn snails are an uncommon variety of ramshorn snails that has very beautiful pink ivory coloured shells. Their flesh is usually pink in colour. The Pink Ivory-coloured shells have a very nice colour like pinkish pearl and you can see their pink flesh through their semi-transparent shells. Of all ramshorn snail varieties, this is currently one of our top favourites.
The Pink Ivory Ramshorn snails we offer here are very healthy with beautiful shells as can be seen from the actual photos we took here. They are also free from diseases or parasites.
They usually eat algae, organics, dead leaves and excess fish and shrimp food, making them excellent aquarium clean-up crew.
In Aquarzon's experience, they generally do not eat healthy plants unless they are starving which is rare to happen in a normal planted aquarium with fish/shrimp.
We feed them with high-quality Spirulina algae wafer sinking food. We also provide them with Australian cuttlebones to help strengthen their shells. If you need high-quality Spirulina snail food or cuttlebones, you can buy from our Spirulina and cuttlebones listings at the bottom of this page.
They are part of our healthy planted tanks / setups and do a great effort eat bits of uneaten fish food that sinks to the substrate, eating dead leaves, algae, etc.
We ensure they are not overstocked and also keep them in aquariums / setups with their own dedicated filters (not shared sump) which prevents any potential cross-contamination..
These 2 steps help avoid the probability of any potential disease spread.
If snails are overstocked in close proximity, if one snail has a disease, it is easy to spread to many around it. If shared sump is used, it is easy for tank-to-tank contamination to occur.
By buying here, you can also be assured that they are free from diseases and worm parasites.

Breeding Tips
The key to breeding these Pink Ivory snails is to ensure sufficient and constant nutritious food supply for them. While they can eat dead leaves and algae, they must be fed with proper food. We recommend feeding them with high quality Spirulina algae wafers (the exact one which we use is at the bottom of this page). At the same time, try to ensure not to have over excess of food as this can pollute your aquarium water. The key is to have sufficient food constantly, but not over-excess. Also, it is important to provide them cuttlebones (listed at bottom of page) to maintain the health of their shells. If they are not in good condition, it can reduce their breeding rate. When Mystery snails are ready to lay eggs, they will go above the water surface level to lay the eggs on the aquarium walls
