Crypt Wendtii Bronze - Quality Aquarium Grown Cryptocoryne

This Crypt Wendtii Bronze variety is an attractive cryptocoryne that can grow leaves with colour tones of bronze, brown, red and green depending on lighting intensity and nutrients level (higher iron and lower nitrate will encourage more coloured growth).

As can be seen in photo we took here,even on the same plant, all 3 leaves have different colour tones. Furthest left, is bronze/brown/reddish while furthest right is green and middle is in-between. 




Aquarzon recommends this beautiful plant to be best used in the midground areas for most tanks. For smaller tanks, it can be used in the aquascape background.

Cryptocoryne Wendtii Bronze can be grown in both high tech and low tech (no CO2) tanks. Low lighting level is fine for this plant but the colour will be more green. Under high lighting, it would usually grow more bronze leaves, especially when grown in aquarium substrate with iron nutrient or supplemented with a fertiliser containing iron.

This plant grown is 100% submersed grown indoor and is very clean, free from weeds and outdoor pests. It is not tissue culture or emersed grown stock which can suffer transitional melting issues when planted in an aquarium. Our indoor submersed grown stock is in very healthy condition and ready to be planted straight in an aquarium.
