Bucephalandra Paris is a unique, medium leaves Buce species that is very rare in Australia. It is now the opportunity to keep this in your aquarium.

Aquarzon observes this species as having unique spathulate shape (broad, rounded end but tapered at base) leaves with smooth edges and thicker leaf thickness, a combination which is not common among usual Buce (such as Theia and Brownie variants which usually has wavy leaf edges and standard shape leaves).

It is one of the iconic Bucephalandra species kept by Bucephalandra collectors in Europe and is excellent as a special feature plant in an aquarium.

We recommend attaching this to a rock or wood and positioning it in the foreground or midground of your aquarium for most beautiful impact.

This variety offered by Aquarzon is understood to be the true variety based on checks with many different sources. Please note that not every piece has the same colour tone as it can change based on aquarium conditions that vary from time to time. For example, even by just moving it from center to a side of an aquarium, its new growth may be greener due to the reduction in lighting received. Aquarium lighting can also affect its appearance. Under pure white lighting, most Buce appear greener and under RGB LED aquarium lighting, most Buce usually reflect more colourful tones.
