Elodea is considered one of the easiest stem plant and is beginner-friendly.

This plant grows tall so it is best positioned at the background or midground. 

As it grows fast, it can help in maintaining water quality (by absorbing nitrates) and can help in reducing algae issues (by outcompeting algae). It does not solve algae issues but it can help in the reduction of such issues.

This easy stem plant has thick foliage which provides small fish and shrimp refuge. This plant can be used to aid in breeding many types of fish species including guppies. Some people keep this plant floating.

It is one of the few plants that can tolerate extremely cold water. It can be propagated by cutting anywhere along the stem.

This plant grown by Aquarzon is 100% aquarium submersed grown indoor and is very clean, free from weeds and outdoor pests. It is not tissue culture or emersed grown stock which can suffer transitional melting issues when planted in an aquarium. Our indoor submersed grown stock is in very healthy condition and ready to be planted straight in an aquarium.
