Ludwigia Arcuata is a stem plant usually found along the edges of lakes and streams of America that can grow nice coloured leaves especially when grown under higher lighting.
This easy stem plant has very narrow to needle-like leaves which can give a nice contrast to the common rounder leaf plants. It is beginner-friendly and easy to care.
In higher lighting aquarium, it can grow beautiful red colouration. In a lower lighting setup, it will grow more green leaves.
This plant is not to be confused with Didplis Diandra which is a different plant that is also found naturally occurring in USA. From our experience, it is easier for Ludwigia Arcuata to grow redder and longer leaves compared to Didiplis Diandra especially under higher lighting.
Ludwigia Arcuata is a stem plant that is recommended for an aquarium that needs a very narrow leaves midground or background stem plant that can grow nice tones.
This plant grown by Aquarzon is 100% aquarium submersed grown indoor and is very clean, free from weeds and outdoor pests. It is not tissue culture or emersed grown stock which can suffer transitional melting issues when planted in an aquarium. Our indoor submersed grown stock is in very healthy condition and ready to be planted straight in an aquarium.
