Taiwan Moss is a relatively rare Taxiphyllum species that has slighter brighter foliage and ability to grow bigger fronds with wider gaps compared to Peacock Moss under higher intensity lighting.

The Taiwan Moss grown by Aquarzon is 100% true Taiwan Moss. There are a number of mosses sold as "Taiwan Moss" over the years which were not true Taiwan Moss but actually Peacock Moss. Therefore, it is important to buy mosses from reputable experienced sources that you can trust.

We were able to confirm our Taiwan Moss when it had a distinctive pattern while it was left growing completely untouched in our aquarium for a period of several months straight. During that time, it grew very large fronds with fairly wide gaps, a noticeable difference compared to Peacock Moss.
