This rare, beautiful and lush fissidens originates from United States is the larger variant of the 2 phoenix feathers pattern fissidens. It is known as "Fissidens Fox" in Australia. We originally purchased this moss from a highly reputable hobbyist in Australia. It is larger than most fissidens known to the Australian aquarium hobby including the native Mount Glorious, Queensland fissidens. It is has a very beautiful, fine and lush appearance which makes it is a great addition to many aquascapes. It is best positioned over a rock or wood in the foreground or midground position. It can also be used as a foreground cover. Shrimps love this fissidens as it can feed on the rich amount of biofilm and organics trapped on its fine leaves.
