Petite Java Fern (Microsorum Pteropus 'Petite') is a rarer and smaller form of Java Fern which may be confused with Mini Java Fern but is it actually not the same.
Aquarzon observes the main difference as Petite Java Fern having more wavy leaves compared to Mini Java Fern. Both shares the similarity of remaining small (matures leaves are usually 10-18cm).
Due to its naturally shorter leaves compared to the regular Java Fern, this small form variety is great as a foreground to midground plant.
