Blyxa Aubertii which is also known as Bamboo Plant, is a true aquatic plant. It is a tall-growing background aquarium plant that can grow to around 35-45cm in plant height in aquarium conditions. In pond conditions, it can grow even taller.
Aquarzon recommends this plant for aquascapes which need a tall background plant that can grow to the water surface of the aquarium. Blyxa Aubertii is a naturally occurring plant in Australia (NT, Agnes Water, etc.)
Do note that while we would very carefully package this plant, due to very long length of this plant as well as the crispy texture of its leaves which makes it easy to break, some leaves may have breakage upon arrival. This is completely normal. The majority of the leaves will usually still be fine. Moreover, this plant can easily grow new leaves. This plant can sometimes shed its leaves when transitioning to a new aquarium. It is still alive and will usually grow new, stronger leaves when planted and allowed to transition.
This plant grown by Aquarzon is 100% aquarium submersed grown indoor and is very clean, free from weeds and outdoor pests. It is not tissue culture or emersed grown stock which can suffer transitional melting issues when planted in an aquarium. Our indoor submersed grown stock is in very healthy condition and ready to be planted straight in an aquarium.
