This 2 in 1 aquarium Co2 bubble counter with built-in check valve which Aquarzon order direct from the manufacturer has many benefits as below:
Made of Strong Glass and Metal
As this is made of glass and metal, it can withstand a very high amount of pressure, unlike those Co2 bubble counters which are made of plastic. This glass aquarium Co2 bubble counter can easily handle the pressure of 100 PSI which is way more than what a normal Co2 tank/solenoid/regulator would pass through for an aquarium tank.
Passed Our Random Tests (Did Not Crack, Break or Leak)
Those made of plastic can easily break or shatter when under put under high Co2 pressure which is dangerous (we encountered that experience once before). We have tested this glass unit with high-pressure bazooka style Co2 diffuser before which uses a lot of Co2 pressure and there were no problems at all.
Good manufacturing quality to prevent leakage
We order these direct from the manufacturer and had tested many units and all that we had randomly tested did not leak.
2 Functions in 1 Unit: Co2 Bubble Counter with Built-In Co2 Check Valve
As this unit works as both a Co2 bubble counter and check valve. It has a built in check valve, so you do not need to buy a separate check valve. A check valve functions to stop water flowing backwards from your aquarium tank to your Co2 regulator which can completely damage your Co2 regulator / solenoid. Most Co2 check valve is made of plastic which are not as durable as this which is made of metal and glass. A bubble counter helps you to gauge how much carbon dioxide is being pumped into your aquarium tank via your Co2 system.
Reduced Probability of Leakage
The more parts you have in a Co2 system, the higher the chance of a leakage happening. If you are using a seperate check valve, there would be more joints/connections needed and which means a higher chance of leakage. By using this unit which is 2 in 1, you can avoid using a seperate check valve which would reduce the probability of leakage. We use this unit for each of our aquarium tanks as we do whatever we can to ensure minimise chances of any Co2 leakage.
How to Use:
For single head types, screw this on top of your Co2 regulator. This means one end will connect to your Co2 regulator and the othe end will connect to your Co2 airline.
For double head types, fit it in between your Co2 airline. This means one end will connect to one end of your Co2 airline from your aquarium tank and the other end will connect to the Co2 airline from your Co2 regulator.
This listing is for the double head type.
The double head type is suitable for all Co2 systems as double head type fits perfectly between a standard Co2 airline, so there is no need to worry on whether it can fit onto your Co2 regulator etc.
This Co2 glass metal bubble counter with inbuilt check valve qualifies for free Australia Post Express for orders $90 and above (can be combined with aquarium plants).
