Hymenophyllaceae sp. 'Sangui' is an extremely rare small to medium size fern that we describe it as having unique, banana leaf shape pattern. Not much its known about this fern due to its extreme rarity worldwide.
As of early 2019, this fern is not offered by any retailer worldwide and remains extremely rare. It has a very slow growth rate and therefore, our available stock is in very limited quantity as what we have are based on what we can propagate. Once it is out of stock, it usually takes a few weeks to be back in stock due to its really slow growth rate.
Aquarzon's Hymenophyllaceae Sangui fern is 100% true Hymenophyllaceae sp. 'Sangui' and our original specimen was purchased from a highly experienced hobbyist in Australia. We propagate more than 15 types of ferns and we put a high priority in the correct labeling of our fern species.
