Japanese Dwarf Pennywort (Hydrocotyle Tripartita sp. 'Japan') is a very pretty mini pennywort that grows compact and bushy with a nice bright green colour tone. Each plant is just around 2-3cm in height.
This pretty plant can be used as a foreground carpeting plant or as a midground plant. Is best used in an aquascape that needs a beautiful looking plant with a distinct leaf pattern. If it is used as a midground plant, we recommend of thinking of ways of using it creatively. The traditional way of using it as a midground plant is to keep it clustered into a bushy plant. However, we recommend a different way of using as a midground plant which is by either growing it over rocks and wood and also letting it dangle down which can create a truly stunning, natural effect.
This plant grown by Aquarzon is 100% submersed grown indoor and is very clean, free from weeds and outdoor pests. It is not tissue culture or emersed grown stock which can suffer transitional melting issues when planted in an aquarium. Our indoor submersed grown stock is in very healthy condition and ready to be planted straight in an aquarium.
